Country’s premier medical entrance examination, NEET is going to witness an extension in the date of application. The earlier deadline of November 30th, 2018 is expected to be increased by a week.
TheNational Testing Agency published the notification for the start of the NEET2019 registration process from November 1st, 2018 on its official website. NEET Application Form isfilled in an online mode by the interested candidates. There is no offlineapplication mechanism for NEET 2019.
As, per the official notification, the NEET 2019 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 5th, 2019. It would be the first time when NTA would be conducting the exam. Unlike JEE Main 2019 exam, NEET 2019 would be conducted in an offline mode that is pen and paper mode and would take place annually.
Candidates who are preparing for NEET 2019 exam and have yet not made an application for the same have a golden chance to register as the final date of application are extended by one week till December 7th, 2019.

Candidates must note that though the dates are spelled out by the official exam conducting authority, they are tentative in nature and are bound to change as per the discretion of NTA. Hence, candidates are advised to visit the official website on regular basis.
SC Judgment Behind Date Extension
The Supreme Court Judgment that came on Thursday extended the upper age limit for NEET 2019 general and PWD category candidates. Earlier, the upper age limit for general category candidate was 25 years and for PWD candidates, it was 30 years as per the official notification published by NTA on November 1st, 2019.
The judgment of apex court has allowed candidates of age 25 years and above in the general category and 30 years and above in PWD category would now be allowed to make an application for the NEET 2019 exam.

Registration
- Visit the official website of NTA: https://www.nta.ac.in
- Click on ‘Medical Exam’ and then click on NEET 2019
- Click on new registration
- Fill in the necessary details like e-mail id, phone number etc. and set a password
- Click on register
- Username and Password would be generated post Registration
Application
- Click on login portal of NEET 2019.
- Fill in the Username and Password and click on login.
- A detailed application form will appear.
- Fill in all the necessary details that are asked for
- Choose four choices as your NEET 2019 Exam center.
- Upload necessary documents along with your Photograph and Signature.
- Preview the application form to avoid any mistake.
- Pay the NEET 2019 application fee through online mode or through bank challan.
- After the application fee clearance, submit the application form.
- A successful application message would appear on the screen.
- Take a printout of the detailed application form and note the Registration/Application number.
