JEE Main is an engineering entrance exam that isconducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education in India (CBSE). It isconsidered one of the most competitive and toughestentrance exam in the country.
The NTA will release the JEE Main Qualifying Cutoffalong with the result in the first week of February. Candidates can check theJEE Main Cutoff by logging into the online result portal. The cutoff will bepublished category-wise. The qualifying JEE Main Cutoff is the minimum scorethat a candidate needs to score in order to be eligible to appear in the JEEAdvanced.
The JEE Main Cutoffis published by JoSAA for admissionpurpose in the participating institutes. The Cutoff 2019 will be category andbranch-specific for each participating institute with each cutoff listing theminimum ranks that are required for admission. In case a JEE Main aspirant doesnot meet the cutoff of an institute, the candidates will be left with littlechance of admission to that institute.

Factors Determining JEE Main Cutoff 2019
The admission Cutoff of JEE Main depends on a variety of factors and the most important ones are given below:
- Total Number of Available Seats
- The Number of Students giving exam
- Total Number of Applications received for the programme that a candidate has sought admission for
- The difficulty level of the exam
